We are delighted to present to you a truly special Latitudes session from Seattle's men of mystery, the Master Musicians Of Bukkake. Entitled Elogia de la Sombra, the session spans two tracks, and 31 minutes of aural exploration. The first track is a sumptuous canyon of melody and timbre and the second an arcane tribute to Krautrock pioneers such as NEU! and and Can.
A bon vivant born and raised in the Big Apple, Little Annie has commenced an impromptu, digital walking tour of the city that saved her life/damaged her irrevocably and ultimately inspired her music.
On Monday 8th November at 6pm at Rough Trade East, Steve Ignorant will be interviewed about his recently published autobiography, The Rest Is Propaganda, followed by a Q&A and book signing. It's free, and all are welcome - no book purchase required!
Those punk-rock grandads NoMeansNo are at it again, with a European tour set for November. Including in this jolly jaunt across the continent is an appearance at this years ATP Nightmare Before Christmas, where they've been asked to play by fellow Canadians Godspeed You Black Emperor.
Southern Records and Rarely Unable PR are looking for interns. Bright, passionate, committed, computer literate individuals with a good appreciation of Southern Records are encouraged to apply. We enjoy a good sense of humour too! Southern Records is a fiercely independent record label, artist management and recording studio established in the late 1970's punk heyday. Now the two companies are sharing offices and we're looking to recruit some interns who can assist us while gaining some excellent hands-on experience.
Interns will assist in the day to day running of the mail-order and production departments, as well as assisting the Managing Director of Southern Records with key tasks. Additionally, interns will assist the founder of PR company, Rarely Unable with a variety of publicity-oriented assignments.
Duties will include:
- Undertaking creative writing tasks
- Internet research
