Antelope
Biography
Antelope plays meditative, stripped-down punk music that uses the melody vs. repetition equation to produce tightly crafted gems. The band formed in 2001 and is comprised of Justin Moyer (of Supersystem and El Guapo), and former Vertebrates members Mike Andre and Bee Elvy. To date Antelope has released two records, a six-song EP in 2003 and a two-song single in 2004. Reflector, Antelope's first full-length release will be released in late March 2007.
Antelope played its first regional shows in eastern and mid-western US cities. The band accompanied Q and not U and Black Eyes on an extensive tour of the United States in September of 2003 and continued playing regional shows in 2004. Antelope toured with Joe Lally and Soccer Team for separate stretches in 2006.
