Bad Livers. the band's name conjures up horrible thoughts of a liver eaten up with sclerosis or some burly motorcycle guy who hasn't exactly lived his life the way mama wanted him to. The Bad Livers, who are composed of Danny Barnes (guitar, banjo), Mark Rubin (acoustic bass) and Ralph White (fiddle), were probably best described by Rubin in an interview before the show as, "this wierd little band from Austin, texas, who play banjos and fiddles and have a lot of fun doing it."
"...if you are really looking for a new sound or have a thing for
bluegrass, then the Bad Livers are for you."
