HOT(-)FAST(+)UNION is the latest release from D.C.'s BLUETIP, a 5 song mini album due out on June 5th on Slowdime. Plans have been laid for extensive touring, a regimen they've embraced since their inception in the spring of '95 and has lead the band through the US, Europe, and Japan. Bluetip has release two full-length albums on Dischord Records, Dischord No.101 (released June '96) recorded by Ian MacKaye, and Join Us (released Nov. '98) recorded by J.Robbins. Bluetip has once again called on J.Robbins' expertise to capture their newest batch: 15 songs in all. Five on "HOT(-)FAST(+)UNION" with the remaining ten slated for a fall release on Dischord Records. Staying true to form, BLUETIP will tour all over the States, Europe and Japan, strengthening their songwriting while keeping the melodic vs. dissonance high-energy style of their live performances.
