Michael Cashmore (currently of Current 93, ex-Nature & Organization) follows up his well received debut CD from 2006 ('Sleep England') with a brand new 5 track mini album. In stark contrast to the entirely instrumental album, 'The Snow Abides' mixes fully orchestrated music composed by Mr. Cashmore with lyrics and texts specially written by David Tibet and sung by Antony Hegarty of Antony & The Johnsons. The results are as lush, celebratory and melancholic as you could hope for. During the last fifteen years, Michael has written the majority of music for some of Current 93’s most acclaimed albums including 'Thunder Perfect Mind', 'Of Ruine or Some Blazing Starre', 'Soft Black Stars', 'All the Pretty Little Horses' and also the recently released 'Black Ships Ate the Sky'.
