After the launch of Pre-Emptive False Rapture last year, the press, record buyers and gig goers in the UK have gone bananas for the futuresonic be-robed avatars of Year 3000 Disco, Chrome Hoof. Thanks, in part, to two headline tours and appearances at the Supersonic Festival in July, Tapestry in August and All Tomorrow's Parties in December.
To coincide with a UK national tour in May, we are releasing a limited edition 12 inch single featuring a radio edit of their dancefloor filler Pronoid, plus a pair of completely different remixes from some admirers.
First up, the legendary Graham Massey (808 State)lends some super dirty synths and electronic beats adding an icy chill to the proceedings, whilst man-of-the-moment Herve (AKA Count Of Monte Cristal) weighs in with a ferocious hardcore lo-fi rework of Tonyte.
Packaging is suitably maximalist, compared to the mirrorboard simplicity of the album, and features a disco sleeve of live photos of the band in full flight.
