Cynthia and Pat's Photo Tour

Cynthia Connolly & Pat Graham are two photographers from Washington DC. They have been documenting the local underground music scene from it's early punk rock roots, right up until the present day community of bands. Cynthia co-edited the book "Banned in DC", and has published 2 post card sets of her work featuring DC musicians along side their favourite mode of transport.
Pat's work will be familiar to anyone who owns records by the likes of Bikini Kill, Make Up and The Delta 72. The two have had a photoshow on tour across the United States for the past two years taking in galleries, record stores and gig venues. The show features Pat's photos of DC Musicians playing live, Cynthia's photos consist of DC Musicians pictured with their cars/favorite mode of transport.

The show is about to reach these shores, hanging from the 28th Nov through to 4th Dec (inclusive) at the ICA. *The exhibit consists of about 30 pictures, featuring bands/members from the likes of Fugazi, Nation of Ulysses, Jawbox, Slant 6, The Make Up and lots more. By way of celebration there is an opening party taking place on Friday Nov. 28th at the ICA. Spinning the disks will be DJ Tetsuya Hirano (Dusted/Mo'wax events), Dave Cushway (BS/Satan's Shindig/Dusted) and direct for Cold Rice, Washington DC "The killa from Manila...", MR.G

The party will be held from 9-1am at the ICA, The Mall.
