Formed in 1997 by Mind Over Matter alumnus Artie Shepherd, former Bad
Trip drummer Erik Matheu, ex-Clockwise frontman Phil Hanratty, and Milhouse
veteran Scott Martin (since replaced by former Saetia rocker Adam Marino)
Errotype : 11 were huge in Long Island before they even practiced.

The band's 1997 eponymous debut (Some Six) was recorded in seven days
in Doctor Ray Martin's makeshift Operating Room studio. Heralded in
the US by many bands, fanzines and trade rags as one of the best debut
albums of the year, the album got Errortype:11 off to a healthy start.
The strength of the record led to tours with Samiam, Gameface, Grade
and others, building a strong US and European fan base.
Since then, producer John Agnello (Dinosaur Jr, Screaming Trees) has
taken the band under his wing, instructing them on the finer points
of studio behaviour with an intermin EP released by Crank! Records of
California, released in the Summer of 1999.

Now Errortype:11 are back with their sophomore effort. Amplified To
Rock was also produced by John Agnello, and should prove beyond a doubt
that all Errortype:11 want to do is rock you like a freakin' hurricane.
A group of woven, carefully laid out rock songs wrapped in a big radio
smoking sound, while betraying none of the band's twisted edge or passionate
delivery.
