the Farewell Bend

From August thru October 1998 the Farewell Bend have toured extensively throughout the u.s. playing about 70 shows.

Early November they made the big move from Kansas City to Washington, D.C.

Bassist John Rejba quit the band before the move. John Wall (formerly of Kerosene 454, currently head of Slowdime Records) filled in on bass for about 5 shows.
Our new bassist is Terrin Durfey from San Diego. Terrin was the singer, bassist for Boilermaker who put out 2 records on Goldenrod and one on Wrenched/Cargo. Terrin is currently under treatment for skin cancer, but has been cleared by his doctors to tour.

We leave next thursday for a 2 week tour on the east coast with Bluetip then come home for 2 weeks before leaving for Europe.
