darren - drums, john - bass, erik - guitar/vocals and jim -
guitar/vocals.
hailing from washington dc, the band exploded into existance in 1993 with
a flurry of 7"'s.
the band's momentum carried on into 1994 with a country wide
tour of the states.
the guys entered the studio in 1995 to record their first full length,
Situation at Hand for Art Monk Contruction, before heading
out on yet another country adventure.
two short tours and a year later the band got together with Don Zientara
at inner ear studios, washington dc.
the result was their second blinding full
length,
came by to kill me,
produced and mixed by J. Robbins
(Jawbox) and Juan Carrera (The Warmers), this time for Slowdime/Dischord.
as if touring was about to go out of fashion, autumn '96 saw the band
embark on a massive US tour with Bluetip.
reaching the far corners of the country, this tour also culminated in the
release of a split single between the tour mates (Maggadee Records).
1997 sees yet more touring for Kerosene 454, in the spring with Boy's
Life, and planned for the fall is a european tour, again with Bluetip.
if this band hasn't played your town yet, it can only be a matter of time.
