The Lungfish music band is now operating in its seventeeth year. The group's consciousness alternately/simultaneously coalesces and disperses creating a continuous quasi-musical pulse which reaches climax at semi-monthly public performances.
Lungfish reach new levels of anthemic prowess with Feral Hymns, incredibly their eleventh album. Cycles of harmony and explorative song structures engage the band to convey truths with chaotic grace. For Lungfish, Feral Hymns is very much a return to the untethered sound of their origin, a rawness struggles free in their songs which is perilously uncommon in rock music today.
Feral Hymns was recorded by Tim Green (The Fucking Champs, Nation of Ulysses) at Louder Studio in San Francisco, California in the Fall of 2004.
