Johanna Claasen Bass and Vocals Marc M100 Guitar and Vocals Ryan Nelson Drums We are The Most Secret Method. We wish to contribute to this beautiful and difficult world. We insist that all our shows are to be all ages and affordable, with the firm belief that if more bands operated this way the nonsense of discriminatory and inaccessible shows would cease. It becomes increasingly obvious to us that descriptions like DIY fail to include the miraculous gift of a little help. We have enjoyed and continue to enjoy the help of many friends, to whom we are grateful. Ryan prepares our art by hand, and infrequently we make our own shirts. We all have tinnitus. We have released a full length lp/cd on Slowdime Records (# 15), and before that a split ten inch with the Dusters on Superbad, Dischord (#6/117.5), and before that a self released seven inch that is now out of print. Postcards are still available through Dischord Direct. The Most Secret Methods first show was in July of 1996 at the Black Cat in Washington, DC. The band assembled gradually after Marc and Johanna bumped into one another at a Crownhate Ruin show. Marc used to be in Fine Day (1990 -1993), Johanna used to be in Lincoln (1991-1993), and Ryan used to be in Jury Rig (1994 -1995). Thank you for you interest and attention.
