P.W. Long needs no introduction in the history of the American underground. He was a member of Wig and then went on to play in Mule before embarking on a solo career which yielded three albums on Touch and Go.
God Bless The Drunkard's Dog is his fourth solo release and he employed the powerhouse drummer Taylor Young, formerly of Young Heart Attack and The Polyphonic Spree to assist the duo slug it out in what is definitely his most rounded and compelling album to date. In addition to his solo work, P.W. Is also currently playing with Taylor Young in the powerhouse trio Young James Long.
