rex have been busy touring the states, last Autumn with June of 44, and in January with Sebadoh.
The band have finished a tour of the US with Sea and Cake and have
now moved on to Europe. Check the tour icon for details.
rex and Red Red Meat have finished recording their joint project
"Loftus". The two bands played together some time ago on a very successful
east coast tour.
The last week of the tour saw members of both bands, (and also The
Grifters), jamming together, adding new and exicting instrumentation to
each other. There are no release details as yet.
rex have finished recording their new record "3". It was recorded
at
Excel-O in Brooklyn, NY with Brain Deck (Red Red Meat and Idful engineer)
and Bundy K Brown at the controls. Both Brain and Bundy worked on c.
The record is out NOW and rex
will again be heading out on an extensive US and European tour in support
of "3".
