Only this time, the Americans won't save you.
From the mental depths of the Skin Graft laboratory, Chicago noise mechanics Mount Shasta and Tokyo based disaster masters Space Streakings team up to produce an album far more intimidating than any measly ill-fated alien invasion. Recorded and engineered by "Steve Albinary", (Gee that name sure sounds familiar) Space Streakings Over Mount Shasta is an example of what happens when you let degenerates from the either side of the cosmos hang out together and plot the destruction of the world. In the guise of Shakuhachi Surprise, they blend dilapidated electronics and fierce programming with overdriven guitars, asylum-inspired vocals (?) and a drum kit that must have surely died after the session. RIP, baby.
What it comes down to is this. They live. They walk the earth and they're coming to your town. This is no prissy close encounter, nor some sissy ET thing. (Phone home? Get real!) This ain't no body snatcher invasion either. Your pathetic form is too fragile for them to inhabit. Nothing short of total anihilation is what we're talking here. Understand that this IS the real thing. When your dog starts acting strange and your mom buys you clothing that you actually like, start getting worried. It means they're nearer than you think. Submit while you can. Who knows, they might actually be merciful.
But I doubt it.
