Carte De Vista was a tour CD self-released by Stars Of The Lid, and sold during their 2007 tour in support of the critically acclaimed Kranky release, And Their Refinement Of The Decline. The CD contains nine rare and unreleased tracks from this revered band, ranging from never before heard tracks from 1997, straight through to unreleased out takes from the aforementioned last album. Amongst these there are rare tracks taken from a 12 inch entitled The Kahanek Incident-Vol 3, and a completely unreleased track from 1999.
Coming in a simple card wallet, this is a highly limited release, with just 1000 being made and most being sold on tour. A must-have collection for fans and another stunning release from a band who can seemingly do no wrong.
