Japan is home to some of the most bizarre/unique bands in the world. At the front of the line are SPACE STREAKINGS, who play
"Cyber-punk-techno-core" and sound like they really are from outer space.
The band has horns blarin', drum machines on overdrive, guitar and bass
all over the place, and programming gone berserk... and amazingly this all
manages to mesh and come out as discernable (and catchy!) songs. Imagine
the BOREDOMS meets a hip hop BUTTHOLE SURFERS on 78 repms! The band made
their US debut on the DEAD TECH 3 compilation and released
their debut LP "Hatsu-Koi" on Nux/ Charnel House
records. Since then the band has jumped over to Skin Graft Records.
