We were formed in 1989 in Little Rock, Arkansas. During the time we lived in Little Rock we released a demo tape, one 7" ("A Name to Depend On") and one LP (self titled). Our original bass player, Paul, left the band in 1990. We relocated to DC in 1992 just after our last major tour. With us came Brad Long, formerly of Sobering Consequences from Memphis, Tennessee. We released another 7" ("Cockatoo") and started from scratch in a new musical environment. Around early 1993 our original drummer, Bircho, moved back to Little Rock and we found Jim Schaffer who had been in Senator Flux during their last album ("Storyknife") and final tour. This would make the current line up of Trusty as follows:
Since that time we've been regularly touring and
playing. We toured the
US (coast to coast) in March and April 1995 and in October, November and
December.
In the fall of 1996, we toured Europe with the
release
of The Fourth Wise Man. In Spring 1997, we hope to tour the US
again.
