The concept behind 2D reveals itself through the first listen. It's far more advanced from what one would usually expect from a split or collaboration album. Even thou both bands recorded their parts on their own it all seems to channel into something very unique and fitting once put together in sequence, and at certain moments it becomes hard to tell which band's effort it is you are hearing. Just like pieces of a puzzle forming a clear image, the musical lines draw together and make up a hand-woven carpet of sheer bliss, with the dark edge we so well adore in other recordings by A Whisper In The Noise and of course, If Thousands.
