Okay people, time to start doing your stretching exercises and double your vitamin dose in preparation for one of the most highly anticipated events on the over 70's calendar - it's the NOMEANSNO tour of Europe! These guys know how to take a venue, blow the doors off and leave the audience half-deaf and covered in sweat and beer. This is what the joy of live music is all about.
These days, punk is like classic rock. It's "oldies". People who liked punk when it was actually happening are in old age homes now. They have great-grandchildren. They remember the time before there was electricity. Nomeansno are like that. They started their band in 1979, which apart from being 33 1/3 years ago (which is coincidentally the number of rounds per minute on a long-playing vinyl record), is also before the invention of the motor car. Go on, look it up.
Yes you heard correctly, our favourite Canadian trio are back for a month long jaunt round Europe following their awesome appearance in England earlier this year, as they clearly can't stay away for too long!
Yes you heard right, the mighty Canadian trio otherwise known as NoMeansNo are set to land once again in Blighty this coming October. A compact tour of just three UK dates means that this is probably one to get on fast...
At last we are proud to announce that the long awaited reissue of the Canadian punk legends' 1995 full length has been unleashed. The original 12 tracks that made up their seventh album have been cut to 180gr vinyl, each one coming with a download to card to snatch them up immediately after purchase.
Those punk-rock grandads NoMeansNo are at it again, with a European tour set for November. Including in this jolly jaunt across the continent is an appearance at this years ATP Nightmare Before Christmas, where they've been asked to play by fellow Canadians Godspeed You Black Emperor.
